For the past five years, we've been coming to Bevri in Palo Alto all the time -- for birthdays, business meetings, or simply whenever we're craving khinkali and a glass of Kindzmarauli.

Prices have gone up over the years, but honestly, what hasn't?

What really matters has stayed the same: the friendly staff, the delicious food, and the wine... especially the wine!

I highly recommend this place to anyone interested in Georgian cuisine. And if it inspires you, visit Tbilisi or even Moscow afterward to try authentic Georgian food and compare it to the American take.

Thank you, Bevri, for being one of our favorite spots.

Bevri is one of our favorites! The atmosphere is inviting and clean, and unlike loud restaurants, you can actually hold a conversation here.

The food was outstanding:

Appetizers: The spinach and beet Pkhali with walnuts was a great spread.

Khachapuri Adjaruli: Crispy, fluffy, and cheesy. Mixing the egg into the cheese is the best part.

Khinkali: Deliciously seasoned meat dumplings.

Mains: The Baje Shrimp had a unique sweet and tart sauce, and the Beef Ribs with Tashmijab were fall-off-the-bone tender.

Drinks/Dessert: The Tarkhun (tarragon soda) is a must-try, and the Pelamushi was a gooey, sweet finish.

We loved everything so much we took the rest home. Highly recommended!

Loved everything about this place. Our server was polite and friendly, food was delicious. They do not even accept tips as part of European hospitality. I will definitely come back with my friends.

Curious about the only Georgian Russian restaurant in the Bay Area located in Palo Alto, my husband and I decided to see what they offer. We found charming ambiance, lovely and reasonably priced food, gracious efficient service and an enjoyable evening. Watching the cooking in the open kitchen was an additional bonus.

The staff, the food, and the wine were all superb. I'm very happy with the place and will certainly be back. I had had some very good Georgian wine before, but the Saperavi here was just as good or better. It's been open only about 8 months, but still I wish I had discovered this place earlier. Dinner for two including three very good glasses of wine between us came out to $111 before tip.
