What is Georgian cuisine?
Georgian cuisine is a unique culinary tradition from the country of Georgia, located at the intersection of Europe and Asia. It is famous for its rich flavors, using walnuts, pomegranate, fresh herbs, and traditional cheeses. It’s best described as "comfort food" with a lot of soul.
Do you have a corkage fee?
Yes, guests are welcome to bring their own wine. Our corkage fee is $30 per 750ml bottle. We kindly ask that the wine you bring is not currently on our wine list.
Where can I park?
There is street parking available on University Ave and surrounding streets. There are also several public parking garages nearby within a 2-3 minute walk.
Do you take reservations?
Yes, we accept reservations for lunch and dinner. You can book a table directly on our website or give us a call. We recommend booking in advance for Friday and Saturday evenings.
What is Khachapuri (Cheese Boat)?
Khachapuri is our signature dish! It is a boat-shaped bread filled with melted cheese, butter, and topped with an organic egg yolk. The traditional way to eat it is to mix the cheese and egg with a piece of crust and enjoy it hot.
How do I eat Khinkali (Dumplings)?
Khinkali are meant to be eaten with your hands! Hold the dumpling by the "handle" (the top dough knot), take a small bite to drink the savory broth inside, and then eat the rest. The handle is usually left on the plate.
Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes, absolutely! Georgian cuisine is very plant-friendly. We serve vegan options like Mushroom Khinkali, Ajapsandali (vegetable stew), Pkhali (vegetable spreads with walnuts), and fresh salads.
Is your menu gluten-free friendly?
We have several gluten-free dishes, such as our Grilled Chicken, Fish, and vegetable appetizers. However, please note that our kitchen uses a lot of flour for our breads, so there is a risk of cross-contamination for those with severe allergies.
