Khinkali in Palo Alto

Khinkali are Georgian soup dumplings. We fold them by hand and twist them at the top, right here on University Ave in downtown Palo Alto. Keep a napkin close.

What are khinkali?

Thin dough wrapped around a juicy filling, folded by hand and pinched into a twist. The filling gives off broth as it cooks, so every dumpling holds a hot sip of soup. That's why they're called soup dumplings.

Fillings

Pick a filling: Beef & Pork, Lamb or Mushroom. Then pick how many: 3, 5 or 8 pieces.

How to eat khinkali

With your hands. Hold it by the twist, bite a small hole, sip the broth, then eat the rest. The twist usually stays on the plate.

Do you have vegetarian khinkali?

Yes. Choose the Mushroom filling. It's vegan too.

Are khinkali gluten-free?

No. They're wrapped in dough, and our kitchen uses a lot of flour.

Yes. Order online, pick your filling and how many, and choose pickup or delivery.
