Bevri: Authentic Dining in the Heart of Palo Alto

Bevri is a Georgian restaurant in Palo Alto, California, serving authentic dishes from Georgia (the country).

The name "Bevri" means "a lot" in Georgian, reflecting its generous portions and festive spirit. It's especially known for classics like khachapuri (cheese-filled bread, baked in a wood-burning oven) and khinkali (juicy soup dumplings), plus grilled meats and a great selection of Georgian wines.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Palo Alto. Their hot sauce — adjika (a traditional Georgian spicy sauce) — is absolutely perfect and the ideal addition to any main dish. The waitresses here are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. Great food, great service, and an amazing atmosphere every time.

Just as great as the Los Altos location, if not better.

This location has a little more of the TO BE SEEN vibe and is definitely great for people watching (in the middle of University Avenue). Food and service just as good. A must and what they are known for is the Khachapuri Adjaruli; the description says it all. Also, a must is the Georgian Salad; I know, it’s just cucumbers and tomatoes but the dressing is spot on!

No hard liquor but they do offer wine, beer and mimosas.

Parking can be tricky; try the side streets.

Will definitely be back…….
